Privacy Policy

Short version

Your words and progress are stored on your phone. There are no ads, no tracking and no analytics. We don’t sell or share your data.

Data stored on your device

The words you add, your answers, settings and lesson notes are kept in a local database on your device. Backups you export are files you control.

Optional account and sync

If you choose to sign in, we use your email address to send a one-time sign-in code, and a copy of your words and progress is stored with our backend provider (Supabase) so it can sync between your devices. Each account can only access its own data. You can delete your account and the server copy at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Words stay on your phone.

Speech and notifications

Pronunciation uses the speech engine built into iOS on your device. Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; no push server is involved.

Children

Vocablito is not directed at children under 13 and doesn’t knowingly collect their personal data.
